Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day I made a cake to honor my wonderful husband, and his dad and brothers. They all work for my father-in-law's painting business and they all hunt so I focused the cake around items from their work as well as their hunting hobbies. I then had a picture of each of them copied onto edible paper.

Returned Missionary Cake

This young man returned home from the Ventura, CA mission a few weeks ago. He is a very accomplished team roper and was also a very accomplished missionary. I created many items for a missionary's "suitcase" as well as his Cinch jeans, cowboy boots and rope.

Engagement Party

Matt and Megan, the police officer and elementary school teacher, had a great engagement party. I recreated Megan's wedding ring in pulled sugar and placed it in a ring box made of fondant.

Birthday and Graduation

The person for whom this cake was made is quite a woman. She had her birthday and college graduation on the same day. I enjoyed making this cake a lot because I got to experiment with some new techniques, the petal look in particular, on the top tier. I hope she enjoyed it as much as I did making it.
